From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am an emeritus professor briefly described in the page Laurence D. Marks. I have done research in electron microscopy/diffraction, plus a few other areas such as corrosion, nanoparticles, nanotribology, oxide surfaces and triboelectricity. My students and postdocs have written a number of good papers which can be found in my Google Scholar page. I have enough grey hair that I know what is notable versus fake in academia, so sometimes review new pages for academics, and try and improve science pages. I am not a fan of user boxes 😎.
